Two years in the making. Paper pieced hand dyed indigo blues and reds. Heavily quilted by Patty in a stars and stripes motif. Designed by her husband Gerry Taylor.

A departure from Patty's traditional quilt block quilts, the "LUCY" quilt is a comtemporary adaptation of realism blended with tradition. Bold colors and textures form the portrait of Lucy the German Shepard Dog. Executed in free-form pieced hand dyed cotton fabrics.
